St Monica Primary School is a community school and comes under the authority of Southampton City Council. The school can take 650 pupils divided into 22 classes all named after roads in our community.
We have 88 dedicated members of staff who work hard to provide a supportive, stimulating and challenging learning environment in which children feel confident and want to learn and do their best. This is underpinned by the St Monica 6 C’s (Consistency, Consideration, Commitment, Co-operation, Courtesy and Care). We believe that every child wants to succeed and has the potential to achieve great things. We aim to meet the needs of each individual by ensuring we provide them with the opportunities, support and encouragement needed to develop their social, emotional, creative, academic and physical abilities to the full.
In partnership with parents, carers, governors and the wider community we aim to ensure that our children will be inspired which will in turn support them to be great learners who will endeavour to do their best to achieve.
