We love to read at St Monica Primary School
Here at St Monica, we have worked hard to put reading at the heart of our school. We have a beautiful library in our main building as well as a smaller library area in our Early Years and Year 1 building.
Our classrooms also celebrate and promote quality reading books and we love sharing and learning from amazing books- both fiction and non-fiction- through our weekly reading sessions in the classroom.
We celebrate authors and use aspirational writing to help us learn how to be the most effective writers we can be. We are passionate about celebrating ourselves as authors, always looking for ways to publish and share our own writing with audiences!
